Cadence Park

Cadence Park is situated on the Bango Creek just outside Yass in NSW, on 112 acres of creek flats and undulating pasture improved paddocks.   

We are a ‘boutique’ stud. We have a small, select band of very high quality broodmares with whom we produce outstanding Arabian/Warmblood youngsters, ideal for the serious dressage competitor. Our broodmares are a very special group of girls, chosen for their correct conformation, excellent movement and outstanding temperaments. We will not sacrifice quality for quantity - we plan to stay small which ensures that all our horses receive the individual care and attention that they deserve. 

We don’t stand our own stallion as we have decided to use Artificial Insemination exclusively. That way we can choose the best possible stallion to use over each individual mare to complement her particular type. In this way we breed elegant foals of consistently high quality - exceptional movement, trainability and an aptitude for higher level work are a must. Our young stock are quickly gaining a reputation for being extremely trainable, with a real desire to please their rider. 

When you purchase a Cadence Park youngster, you can be assured that he or she will have been given the very best in handling, nutrition and veterinary care during their lifetime. Our horses are fed on the best quality lucerne and pasture hay, produced on our own paddocks. Our youngsters are well handled from birth and they are so easy to be around - catching, leading, rugging, trimming, drenching, brushing – it’s all been done right from the start.  

The first foals bred at Cadence Park are growing up and are now out competing with their owners – here are two of them, Reflections and Mephisto, out doing exactly what they were bred to do.
